As I sit With shadows crossing the floor, As I sip My hot sweet mint tea once more, I ponder Forms and forming of some words, I wander The sounds of voices once heard, But a cup of tea last not forever And the cup’s emptiness does now sever, Pondering thoughts Wandering thoughts, Just as darkness ends the shadows Streaking through the open windows, I pull the thick black curtains On my way to the kitchen Leaving no light to guide my way, But I know each footfall so well I walk as if it were day, Sight and smell Needed not the memory Of walking, I don’t need to see, The knowing From movement so many times done alone, And I steep another cup of mint tea, As I sit in the darkness of my home Letting the sweet fragrance grow Then in darkness return back Every step I know Through the black, As I sit Without shadows on the floor As I sip My hot sweet mint tea once more. quote: ... as long as you have your inner light that shines, it's all right. You merge with the night behind your black curtains, try to let in star sparks and moonrays ... they will make your mint tea even more tasty. I don't tolerate well total blackness, that's why I felt like opening your curtains ... and dear Professor please be careful, even if you trust your memory, I fell badly on my hard marble floor in the dark while trusting my memory. Intensely melancholic write, but I enjoyed it, as you can see. Love, Margherita |

Each word is encrusted with alone... and that mint tea sounds so good...I would share a cup with you there in the dark. "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |
