No more than takes to draw this breath through stardust in the cosmic flow, on nights when all the sky is poised, an eminent domain, aglow. As distant objects lean more close, almost, as if to better hear these words which cannot quite describe just what this is, to make it clear. A transformation has begun that has to do with going back. Out here among these dying suns in contrast to the cold, dark, black. There's something else I can't quite grasp and yet, cannot ignore its' touch. The spectrum stretches far too wide and one can only see so much. I've all that I can do to breathe, for here within my true domain the total awe such things inspire words simply will not help explain. Their influence extends just far enough, one might reclaim the stars. |

"As distant objects lean more close, almost, as if to better hear" and if stars had ears, I'd be aglow with their light from reading this aloud. A nice visual in a lovely poem, Doc. |

Doc "There's something else I can't quite grasp and yet, cannot ignore its' touch. The spectrum stretches far too wide and one can only see so much." Speaking of deep or wide, your poetry is that way too. I enjoyed reading this beauty! |
