White silk, obliterating drained grey world, wonderous brume absorbtion. Desire for nothing except desirelessness, hope for nothing except to rise above all hopes, want nothing and you will have everything.avatar Meher Baba. |

Hi, Phil. Perhaps it is just too early in the morning for me, but though I have a sense of peace with your words, I do not understand them. Could you explain it to me. I will then go back and read it with a clearer mind and eyes! lol Linda |

~filtering an object in an opaque finish...adjusting the view, softening the edges of reality~ am I viewing this through your lenses? |

Thanks to everyone who replied it is much appreciated, perhaps a little explanation is required, Opacity deals with the theme of fog, i was on a train, and the fog came rolling in,and it was like white silk, obliterating the dirty grey day of autumn. The word ''Brume'' is just a different word for ''fog'' and so the fog ''absorbs'' the world from view, opaquely softening it, rendering it invisible. Thank you again... Goldenrose. Aha! Your explanation does indeed give added meaning and beauty to your words! Thank you for the explanation! As a true poet, you observe the world around you, assimilate it, and then turn it into fascinating poetry. Have a glorious weekend! Linda |

I've never heard the word brume for fog, but it certainly makes sense now in this write. I love fog, except when I have to drive in it. |
