Shrouded mist land drawn back, sundrenched a new. Scudding cloud skies, painted clear blue, ground shaded. Unoticed you were to my eyes, suddenly coming into view. Autumn sun beamed you light, circling on wings bladed. Turning, slicing air, delta winged, air spilled, stooping. Streaked flash, bird pursuer, pity and praise them all. Dead they are, to your ultimate fate, creature's souls rising. Glory they bestow upon you, their very own pall. Day shrunk to far off call of safe returned sheep. Evensong trees of flame hues,licked-a-last by sun streams. Deep in my memory, this day forever i shall keep. Within drowsy downward depth, your flight will haunt my dreams. Desire for nothing except desirelessness, hope for nothing except to rise above all hopes, want nothing and you will have everything.avatar Meher Baba. |
