Sands blown winward, sloping gentle leeward. Shifting sand, moving through the year, engulfing land easily. Bouncing at ground level, surface creeping. Bound together, strong, growing meadow pasture, spit dunes and tombolo's just offshore. Waterline leads seawards, stoked, ready, poised, they paddle forward. Freedom is theirs, true freedom, riding high through nature's wildest powerful force. Long boarding, mastering water, pipelines arching. Dream runs of surf, nailing curls. Nature force tamed, mastered by skill, adventures under sunblaze. Desire for nothing except desirelessness,hope for nothing except to rise above all hopes, want nothing and you will have everything.avatar Meher Baba. |

Hey, when the surf's up? hang ten!  but me? I'll be walking the beaches, in driftwood reveries, not paddling out though I did in the past, and remember I once rode a long, long 'forever' wave Do you live near some sand dunes or the sea? |

Midnite, Iliana...thanks for your replies...i needed them!!!...Thought this one was going to sink without a trace...!!! No i dont live that close to the sea but i do love the sea and dunes...everything within nature is a favourite of mine ..so i comined nature with the true freedom of surfing...kind of like the dunes are there and always will be there..shifting in periodic time..but the surfers come and are fleeting...leaving nature to wipe their footsteps clean and refresh the beach... Thanks once again for your replies.. Goldenrose. Living only minutes from the surf , I watch them riding waves each day , but I prefer to sit on the dunes and watch the sunset descend Hope |
