If once the time were nigh, would thee shed a tear, a tear of solitude, a tear of caring...smothering not the flame which burns within the embers of thy heart? For....in my dreams gentleness smothers not, and wisdom washes the soul of a man...as each night burns into a new day and each day brings hope to love’s budding flowers....again... Is but the river’s wind that brings the leaf once fell as snows the eyes now blinds and waters drip the well. A well once kept by air dry as the desert’s skin in wait the feather’s flair before the float does end. And as the waters rage toward the sea of brine a love shall once engage as lips then sip life’s wine. |

in wait the feather’s flair before the float does end. This line alone is beautiful. But, the whole poem is wonderful !! hugs, Chris Poetry is an echo, asking a shadow to dance. |

"as each night burns into a new day and each day brings hope to love’s budding flowers" ~ It is almost a shame for me to separate the above lines from the body of your remarkable piece of writing, but I found them especially inspirational and lovely. It was a treat to be reading your poetry again, my SC friend! Linda |

You've quietly engaged the circumference of the world's poets in this simple, yet profound write. Well, profound to me, as I circled the globe... |
