Cherishing The Memories

I can still sense you here
Whenever I come to write
Shining over the meadow
In continued glowing light

Although a year has past
I am often thinking of you
A meadowlark still writing
As you had wanted me to

Cherishing the memories
The meadowlarks still fly
I know you watch over us
From in the heavenly sky

Remembering you Joyce
For reasons I expressed
The friendship we shared
I will always feel blessed
