its all bad I think
very bad "he hurt me" poetry
that belongs
nowhere and everywhere.
Stifled?
my words
try this
my heart
stifled by your inability to recognize
what a wonderful thing you have
waiting
waiting
and how long should I be stifled
waiting here
while you go backwards
instead of forward?
the fact is
that I don't
care
how stifled my words are to you anymore.
Stifle this
I've been crushed by you
momentarily entrenched in fantasy
and now must I wrench myself free
simply to be the only one who saves us?
We ask so much of one another
too much
but then we still have these years in between
where I cannot stop loving the man I know you could be
but then
thats what my life has been built around
waiting
on someone to become.
I love you
but I'm angry
and its all here for the world to see
in my eyes every day
there is us behind them
and i'm so tired of shrugging my shoulders
when they ask about you
and where you are
and when
you are coming back.
so we dreamed ourselves a nice life in our minds
are you courageous enough to live it?
I get it though
I'm
supposed to be.
Be what?
be strong
be silent
be diligent
be patient?
So it sounds bad
words
that I pour out
and you pour over heartlessly.
bad "he hurt me" poetry?
Here is it, Baby.
Critique it.

"Critique it."

The only standard I truly have for critique is that I like my poetry honest, from the heart, so I can FEEL it and connect to the poet on some common ground.

I never had a problem with that with you lovie.

(Thank god/dess yer safe, too.)

Drop me a line, lady.

you have been missed. :kissed:

"are you courageous enough to live it?"

Indeed, you have captured it all with this word ... courageous.

Alas ... *sigh* ... it takes great courage to change.

I for one am cheering for both of you to accept ... change.

Hugs dear friend.

powerfully said and felt...
this made me remember the feelings of long ago...and I'm so glad, they're gone....

we are all the object of someone's fantasy sometime..guess we just let it be...and make someone else the object of ours eventually....and in the mean time,,,just write it..spend the words like coins..

well penned tempting one..enjoyed it
