Care for me not, for I shall be brave I will walk upon earthy pine needles, Alone, and I will not feel the rage. I wont sit here enchained, my thoughts to you a slave. Seals arc, through sea foam for me! Not deceitful. Care for me not, for I shall be brave. I met someone lovely, just the other day Her black hair glistened, her skin smooth, supple Not you, but she didn’t turn me away I think I could love her. Yes, even that way. Move on, be happy, make my life full. Care for me not, for I shall be brave. Her kisses leave warm blooms when her lips move away. She will never leave, She knows oh so well, your loss was her gain when you turned me away. Now we sit here, on the porch, the moons rays Half holding her face from the tears that dont swell. I NEED to remember, I have to be brave. |
