feel darked
by the hurt that has just been caused
Feeling a bit of uneasiness
Feeling a bit odd
I feel as though just to nod

I broke it up
the guy that I was with
I just did not feel anything
When we shrugged a kiss

He seemed very mad at me
When I was walking the halls today
He said things are different for us
how can that be with nothing really happened?

I am not feeling very happy
Nor am I sad
I just feel a little uneasy

I talked to him on phone today
he was trying to act happy in his own way
but I know better then that
when he talks me now
he feels like it is a force
that to me is so poor
I know from the inner mind
and from the middle skull
of how much things can hurt
through the heart and the soul

Things dont seem easy
for people these days
I just had to do what I did
I didnt want to do
what that Philip did to me
He said that he loved me
Then he broke up with me

I didnt feel that connection
that I would usually feel
so why have a relationship
with that person
when you dont feel
what you might think is for real

hope, love, is the value of poetry

Welcome. Perhaps your arrival signals a new beginning. This would be a perfect place for that. Hope you like this home as much as I do. Peace.

I happen to believe its best to come clean
and end what might be the wrong affair.
If he really wants/expects more? and you don't really care for him that way?
KUDOS to you for not going down some false game playing road. It's nice when someone likes you, and acknowledging and appreciating it is OK. But you are right, it isn't fair to encourage a relationship that you don't feel is the one for you. Nice honest write!
