Up there in the night sky where stars and spirits play
the eyes of one afraid look down to earth dismayed
for once a happy scene twists now with human greed
in a restless spiral towards the end of peace.

Incredulous the clouds that thick yet open paths
and pull from the shadows the good intent of heart
forming so a shuttle for the exchange of fate
and granting karma points for love instead of hate.

Like daffodils in spring one by one popping up,
like the rose of winter, a yellow buttercup,
and no one can foretell the time of such event
or plan a dinner feast for what is heaven sent.

The come and go of love is like that up above,
it flies most everywhere like a fine feathered dove
but no guided missile it veers off to the side
for time frames of the sky are not the same as mine.

Up there the eyes of love cry tears for mother earth
down here I cry for love until its grand rebirth
but all the tears that flow moisten whatever grows
and direct the future from only what we know.

I see the shape of love fly past my open heart
like shadows disappear in daylight from the dark
but it’s in the knowing that I bow down to pray
for missiles to fly straight to their intended prey!

Helen / 11 July 2005

And off she goes a-humming, da-da, da-dee, da-dum,
a wanderer forever underneath the sun …
until whenever/if she remembers love!

Pipsters - you're a great bunch! Thanks to all who have read me but it's time to veer off to the side and plan new strategies, new outlooks, new conclusions - none of which, I guess, are likely to be right.  Such is life!

M'Dear...the door never closes on a roamer...
so if and when you need to find comfort and welcome
again in the blue halls, we will be here,
with arms open wide...

Have a good journey - and please know,
you will be missed!

Ah Helen..you will be very much missed if you leave.
I understand how you feel though..
and just know, we'll keep the house lights on for you..
for you will always have a home here.

Helen, my friend...please stay in touch.  I will miss you otherwise.  Wherever your path winds, keep the spirit that is you alive.  I think you are so wonderful!!

Thank you all so much.  Just a lot of "stuff" going on at the moment and, Martie, somehow you know it's to do with keeping the spirit alive.  I will survive, I will remember love, and I will be back again!  Oh, and it's great knowing that the blue pages will be here when that time comes.

it is those who know no fear, that accomplish so much...and you dear are a winner...a keeper and a great master of whatever comes to you...wisdom is consistent tapping you on the shoulder inviting you in...I will miss you so much, but first and foremost is your success...be well, be happy, be content...

Hugs and love and thank you for a shower of your presence....

Maureen and Lee - thanks so much.  Oh, the "wisdom" if that be what it is taps and taps continuously (can't sleep because of it) but it needs now to be wisely directed  ... and I've no idea where that can be so I grit my teeth and remain in the shadows.  Whew!  And doesn't that sound dramatic?  Just cutting the line from brain/heart/soul to fingers for a while - in order to survive.

It's easier if you pull away a little at a time...spending less time on here..but allowing some just for the enjoyment and friendships...not letting it consume

hugs again Helen
You are a very fine poet
