I thought, what does attract the mood?
But something new, a tasty food
Something different to attract
Something different from the fact

I know religion plays its role
That love and hope can make us whole
That there is something we all chase
To help us feel within our place

I thought, what does attract the feel
To smile at things of hard to deal
But selfish thoughts that peace the mind
That otherwise we could not find

I know that time won’t stop for we
And what it is, is what will be
But it becomes the mirrored grey
As more years come and pass away

I thought of time, of youth back then
So back to old days once again
When each day smiled inviting fun
Until another one was done

And found what does attract the mood
Lies within the offered food
With people saying take a bit
It’s then you know the mood is right
