the wind in the trees

I wept
to the stone of
a thousands tears

September remains swollen
with early rain
the last taste of pure summer

I searched the fields
through tall grass
palms pressed
for the soft fire
of red flame
the core of heart

that remembers no smoke
no moving parts

he watches from a distance
and pretends this is
the easy walk

this journey of paradise
holds its true condolences

each tree is a memory
before the pages are
cut and turned

and tossed in the back attic
to collect dust
before the salt rises

to the surface
and their names are etched in stone

I am one person.
I am a chorus of a thousand souls.

how would one feel if they found out a life they never allowed to live, was all a lie created by ones envy. or just one wanting to have control, and having no one hear truth. but that god, their is a god. a creator. i put all my faith in god. nice words. got me to think, sorry for rambling.
