Long ago at the start there was love in crawl along alleys of man cut like grooves in life’s tenuous thread till the storehouse of all straightened up tall and brought the ends in together. The noose of denial a fait accompli and so the beheaded were born but the dismembered part still intact to the eyes of the newly created. Shudders the soul in search of a brain and the energy cord recoils to invisibly lie a beaten ideal at the base and core of wisdom. Time and the threads straighten again but of grooves there are a-plenty to lure and attract the seeker away from the shepherd of thought. Out from a noose but onto a limb in hang over pits of free-will and there one day I came to know … balance doesn’t come easy when you stand at the end of a thread! Helen / 22 September 2005 |

Marge, Jo, and Martie - thanks so much for the read. Martie, I'm not wise or even a wife but just here in this thing called "life". |
