 I intoxicate the sleeping Plunge star laced dreams deep within an innocent chyld's veins The Goddess My Mother Avalon my blood Arthur's chosen I am a chylde Of the fey Cursed Bound Whilst the moon bleeds my name soul lost amongst the mist Stars crumble beneath my touch The earth trembles beneath my desire I am my own lover I am a chylde of the fey I am the daughter of the Goddess I am Morgana Le Fay If at first you don't succeed destroy all the evidence that you tried. |

Princess of Powys... Daughter of the Goddess of fates, you say? "I am a chylde Of the fey Cursed Bound" So then, like her, you are able to change shapes, from beautiful to ugly and back again....hmmmm, sounds like most women I know, maybe all of you are daughters of Morgana? Perhaps none of you really need us mortal men? "beneath my (your) touch The earth trembles beneath my (your) desire I am my (you are your) own lover" Maybe we "Green Knights" should consider this more often, after all we have been given ability by your mother to survive beheadings in the past... Because of your spells, even when we glance at some lithe Guinevere, we are most times given a second chance to live, that is, if we purify our minds...This is rightly so, and this is a very good poem..... enjoyed -------------ice/ford |
