![]() Magic- in the mystic moonlight from dolphin's mouth crystal waters arch - moonbeams dance in silver ripples under a canopy of lilac blossoms.. a bench invites romance ~ glow-worms between branches flicker their little lanterns in a ceremonial dance. Hands move gently - voices whisper lips discover love's sweet mead hearts in joyous rhythm beat passion grasps with hungry arms captive love in fierce embrace. Hide not your mystic face pale moon dawn's victory comes all too soon. |

Though the form may be modern, at its heart, this poem seeps the blood of Byron and Shelly...The things of Romance might change, from generation to generation...but the spirit of it does not... as is shown so plainly in this poem... The picture fits the poem well, invites the story, yet for some reason I see the ghost of Keats, sitting on the bench, lamenting.. "The day is gone, and all its sweets are gone!" enjoyed ------------ice ><> |

A soothing and romantic poem. This month's moon is so bright and invites lots of fantasies of romance. I enjoyed this so much. Hugs, Marti Living simply and calmly in the mountains! |
