What Matters Not "A friend is the one who comes in when the whole world has gone out" ~~*~~ Sometimes you don't understand the sustaining of a feel the loss of emotions back, a hold of feelings real. The profile of your words, a Friday night alone. What might have been, behind these eyes those thoughts of tender sown. Selfishly, I run to you my burden's interlude. A gift of time, if only, then to soften saddened mood. The tears of yesterday attack to crystallize the dust, icing down the warmth of feel, a twist of an adjust. The evening of this life journeys on alone. What might have been lost now to eyes, as time itself has flown~~ M "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |

Maureen, this for me held great vision...simply said, I have learned there may be a price tag on some friendships, yet others, go forth fruitfully, benighn to any forgery, or selflessness...having the ability to smile on someone's accomplishment, need to travel further, sometimes without us... Well done |

Dear M, we would all call ourselves very lucky if we had just one person to call our friend, too often we are just alone, maybe not in company but in self, a friend brings out the person and the truth. This was a fantastic write, though sad, each time I read you, you get better. You have many friends here who love what you do, please keep it up, you can never become lonely with us all. Be well my friend and keep the pen writing. Sincerely Rick |
