Can I see beyond you? Will you block my vision Keeping all secrets tight; Locking my emotion. I have lost elation Somewhere in the deep night; I know it is somewhere Waiting for a new light. Will I regain my sight In the warm morning air Will it be there to do Something for me to share? I'll treat it with great care, But to me something new, I long for relation Maintained by very few. Gloom The second and fourth lines are the rhyming lines, the first links back and the third links forward. |

Smarty Pants! Well done Gloom. You make these seem so simple to do. Chris Poetry is an echo, asking a shadow to dance. |

Your rhyming backwards and forwards is brilliant, but your last stanza says it all, and what makes life worth living. Beautiful work, Professor Gloom~ |
