When We Lived Apart (Beenie)

The shadows gradually dim,
Until total darkness surrounds me.

As I slowly fade into sleep,
A smile from within,
Journeys to my lips.

I inhale the sweetness of your words,
Bask in the warmth of your love,
And joy and contentment envelope me.

You are my nirvana,
Loving and being loved by you,
Born my paradise on earth.
