Written while listening to the Foo Fighters "Hero" and after reading Juju's article about the little boy in St. Louis. My Hero He leads with unimaginable burden gleaming within the horizon's brush stroke lighted only by a ruined city scape holding the future at his sides and in his arms he is my hero yet much younger than i and still more courageous he is my hero still just a child yet more adult than I the light within darkness of disaster he burns bright with hope. -John nice use of muffin |

John, Very nicely done. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Thank you all for the responses. Just to clarify and right my mistake. The poem is about the little boy in Juju's article in the lounge forum. I typed St. Louis instead of Louisiana. I always get those places mixed up even though they are completely different. Anyway, thank you all for stopping by and meeting my hero. nice use of muffin |
