I looked beyond my fingers familiar
there was nothing loaded there
only the empty spells of words
already fired into your bookmarks
where the closeness of the pattern
was of more value than the caliber

and you held the bible on your head
with your eyes closed hoping
I wouldn't neglect my target
as you modeled nude in high heals
your latest inappropriate ink
where it shouldn't show for most

we exchanged our exchanges then
somehow I preferred yours more heated
they made your eyes alive with fire
and your woman seemed a bit more evil
thus the accomplishment of your whim
to require my personal attention

to the knottings of your loose ends
