on this man night of me without nightgown or shirt you are a dancer of sound missing the brassy class places like silvered memories not recognized and I wonder again of your skin under my hands saying prayers to the sensual side of their freshly fallen god and how you call to their touch like canyons do the winds when evenings turn the sun to a warm nuzzles of color bosomed in velvet and beyond permisson to the lowering of shadows I beg my mind to know your saharas to ruin your never dunes with seldom and the dances of my quiescency to borrow you as breathless summered with sighed smooth rivers wanting more than just the saliva of our thank yous ______________ dark |
