Silence I spun this out of black and silver to shape some color of gray my fingers have the need of touch he understands the connection I prefer his laugh in fragments of day for he captivates me like rain disappearing into the blue of dusk beauty of images rich shades of darkness I try but often fail to catch the sound of their shapes on my tongue -- echo too faint over each like slow change of color in Septembers light absorbing fibers of each hand beyond the shadows defined in traces of air breathing in {that his words have stirred this heart} I place you there beauty filling eyes to seep the ashes of warmth as if you were never alone while the sky stirs blue ~ I pray for sleep that I may awake again to gentle eyes so winter will not need a reason to stand alone ~~**~~ You're so vain you probably think this song is about you (CS) ~~**~~ |

"I try but often fail to catch the sound of their shapes on my tongue -- echo too faint over each like slow change of color in Septembers light absorbing fibers of each hand beyond the shadows defined in traces of air" See, this is what I miss when I stray too far from the porch. Fine write to have with my Kona this AM, Loopy... (But I thought we agreed that you'd not write of me in public any longer.) |

"I prefer his laugh in fragments of day for he captivates me like rain disappearing into the blue of dusk beauty of images rich shades of darkness I try but often fail to catch the sound of their shapes on my tongue --" Hey gal, told you I would be back after I savored this one a while... my sis, but, you NEVER fail to captivate with your words Dear Lauren. You take poetry and lace the edges with an eloquence that graces this readers eyes and leaves me with a sigh of and a smile. |

As always, your words paint a picture likened to a Rembrandt. Enjoyed. "If this grand panaorama before me is what you call God... then God is not dead." |
