Comfortable, just a stroll
Flat level plain out before
It never ends
Just the same forever

Struggle to step over a rock
Clear it out of the way
Side-step it, but it seems to move side ways as well
A little rock

Step over it
Get it out of my way
Carry it with me
Kick it, OUCH, I stubbed my toe

Turn and find another route
But the ground behind me has disappeared
Walk straight sideways
There is nothing to walk sideways on
Rock mockery

Its fat and tubby
Lazy deadening thing
"Move jerk!"
I eventually sit, there is nothing I can do

Caught between a rock and nothing
So how far down does this cliff go
It must be hundreds of feet
Black cloud rest on my shoulders
I can't see

Frozen I'm still sitting
Something so obvious and simple to be on my way
Toss the rock over the cliff?
Screw this rock, about face, forward step

Wow.

I was just thinking of writing another Tarot thing, when your title caught my eye...

and I'm not sure if it was your intent, but this is what it brought to mind for me:

and smiling, here.

It's a good card, if you let it. It can be full of adventure and hope--don't worry about the falling part either--angels who know better have done that for mere envy of our experience.

Much enjoyed!

Trust me, a few more years of experience and you will not have to side step that rock.

YES, a journey for sure, seems as if you have made a most wise decision.

serenity, I hadn't intended to be a fool.  I guess thats what it boils down to when instead of trying to make it around he rock and failing I steped over the edge.

steve, I read your response last night about the girl thing, its nice to have gotten away from all of that.  a learning experience... that darn rock!

LeeJ, yeah like Whiley Coyote.

littlewing, just get out of there before it rolls back on me.
