i've been thinking lately and i've been feeling lately what it's like to be alone i had a dream that you held me "it shook you to the core didn't it?" that's all you said to me "it shook you to the core didn't it?" i had a dream that we danced in the snow you wore white and i wore black i lost you to the night be careful i'll cross my heart and burn my bridges but you'll never leave me because you shook me to the core.

Now see I took this an entirely different way. I read of an egotistical man who figures he has control, and a woman who finally realized she can make it in the world on her own and that he really doesn't shake her to her very core. Then again, what do I know?Men when that would be said to a man about a dream he wouldn't think of just simply walking over and holding the person - oh no! They even like to think the can control dreams Just kidding, well sort of. |
