At last a morn without dreary
The sunlight shinning in through my darkened window
The sound of a child sleeping, inhale, exhale
Peaceful winds of life
My mind seems clearer this morn
The heavy eased from within
Maybe today it wont return

The sun feels warm hot even
Summer sure is here
Late but making an apperance
Before christmas is upon our day
I did not think id make it here
To this week the one were we celebrate
Just goes to show how your strength grows
In a time when you are positive you cant do it
Reasoning with your conscious
Life to continue as before

A cough from inside darkened room
A tired face looking around an opening door
Then its here the moment the best
A waking cuddle that lasts for infinity
The first word spoken "my mummy"
Everything is wonderful in those minutes
I will be mummy forever more
For you are my heart and soul
The one who keeps me here
With smiles and cheer
