A heart lies shredded Ripped apart But still, it beats Pulsing life's blood As sacrifice to love Unrequited And I find I lack Sewing capabilities The needle slips, Falls from my hands Into the contamination Of broken belief So glue is sought But wetness seeping Prevents a bond Time has become An unrelenting enemy Feeling helpless All I can do Is shed these tears Into the wound Hoping that love Can seal the seams |

Listen to that Moth! You know having you care about someone is about as good as it will ever get, as you are someone with so much love and tenderness to offer. This was a little heart wrenching but very good poetry. |
