Compacted dirt and this is the earth a ball in the sky with no desire calm and serene or so it would seem until the storm not fussy this morn how it displays innate dismay. There, that’s that, a fact and a stat recorded in annuls of history that on this day, this fateful day, the blue too tired to pray has turned to mournful grey. The eyes of a woman still blue now shuttered with silent regret pierce through the gloom like a knife in search of the mystical, true, and there behold still living today the sad remains of the dead/alive. Love in the grey dishonours today blue’s need to be vibrant and clear and seal the fate of manhood states in the bosom of pure honesty but not to be or so it seems and a woman like me perceives the blue of the sky, her only desire, a servant and puppet on strings to the grey, the grey, the artful grey, of life as it is today! |

Methinks there be a wee bit of the philosopher in you that comes through in your writing. I always read your poems twice and enjoy them even more the second time through! Love & Light, Linda |

The movement of words! How great. Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love |

This flows nicely, and the way you use color to convey your emotions is underscored by some finely written, intense imagery. "The eyes of a woman still blue now shuttered with silent regret pierce through the gloom like a knife" |

"and a woman like me perceives the blue of the sky, her only desire, a servant and puppet on strings to the grey, the grey, the artful grey, of life as it is today!" Helen, you are so skilled in saying exactly what you mean, and I know....I do. ....jo |
