I’m Getting Better Paul Wilson I’m getting better at hiding my pain You can’t tell the difference between my teardrops and the rain With the smile I wear no one can tell This life I’m living is a living hell Everyday is a challenge I have too face The pain gets stronger it’s found a new place I’m getting better at hiding my pain I smile for you and try not too complain One day of hurting is like a year too me I don’t know how many more sunrises I will see I’ll live my life to the fullest and share the good days with you I’ll hide my pain and smile until my life on earth is thru It’s starting to rain again or is it just my tears Hold me tight sweetheart like you did all those years ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ |

Hello Paul.. I live with a chronic progressive disease and know what you mean. But somehow, someway, I manage to thank God for each new day.. and I smile and carry on.. Sending heart hugs your way. |

Sunshine Gentle Spirit Lee J Seymour Naked Thoughts Enchantress Susan Thanks to all of you for your caring replies. I wrote this poem about my wife and the pain she goes thru everyday because of chronic health problems, She is the toughest lady I have ever known. We've been married for 35 years and everyday I spend with her is a treasure I will keep forever. I couldn't go through one percent of the pain that she deals with everyday. She wanted me to thank each of you for your caring words and thoughts, so from her to you thanks. ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ Paul |

Hello Paul, and a good marriage like you have works both ways...you help her, and she will inspire you!! What a wonderful poem this is, and as some of us deal with progressive illnesses, as I also do, we understand her pain, and wish her only the very best. And by the way...you are a gem of a husband, and I personally applaud you!!! ~S~ Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life |

sunnyone...You are so right. We celebrated 36 years on the 11th of this month. We were apart physically but together in our hearts. She does inspire me. Your words about being a good husband make me blush, but thank you very much for them and for reading...Paul ~~To share my poems with you is to share my heart with you~~ |
