You Can’t Stop a Gypsy from dancing! |

The music may pause, and the moonlight may dim But the lady still dances in whirls of her whim Her heart holds the magic, the tune and the beat And nothing can capture her magical feet.... A woman of pleasure wrapped up in a smile And when she can dance, all is well for awhile She dances for love, be it lost or asleep And always the dreamer, her dreams she will keep... She looks in the fire, it glows in her eyes And even in daylight, she holds no disguise But don’t be so foolish to think she is tragic For she’s full of strength, not to mention some magic... So, listen with heart, and the music you’ll hear Then sit by the fire, with skirts twirling near And join her in movement, in laughter and giving For always she'll dance, making life well worth living!! Mostly I write lyrics to go with my music, and this one just seemed to take hold.
