Do Not Fear

Sooner or later we're
all going to lose
a person we love.
(or they will lose us)
Sad? Of course it's sad,
but this is a part of life,
(those we love can walk
away or pass away)
and with acceptance
comes the ability
to allow love to be
all that it can be,
and the realization
that we have the capacity
and the freedom to love
many times in a lifetime.

Thank you passing shadows and miscellanea for the nice responses...
Passing I wrote this thinking of family members we love or those we fall in love with...hopefully not too many...wisdom is gained by learning not to give the heart too quick...I have watched myself more closely the past few years, gaining an understanding that most of the women I meet should only remain friends, and rarely do I allow a relationship to go beyond this...I am involved in a long term relationship right now that is close...I know from my stlye of writing some believe that I have ten girlfriends, but believe me, I write of only one in sincerity and the rest is my imagination...James
