Touching Touching the flowers of my day Feeds my hunger in a way that Stays the cravings of desire Makes a bouquet of admire Illusions, lost horizons fill Paying part of my daily bill Zaps the spirit of ignore Exposing peeks of inner core Changing grime into living rhyme Add mixing beauty into time Sending whispers through the trees that Intoxicates the very leaves And they dance me, my very life To the notes of my essence fife Falling down when they are flung To spring again when spring is sprung And in this touching of the day I somehow seem to find my way |
