It's not so hard to find the words,
that I wish to say.
It's the fact that you're not here,
to share with me this day.
All I have are memories,
to hug my broken heart.
All I've wanted since you left,
is to be where you are.

I miss everything about you,
even the "mama look".
The faces you would make,
while eating what I cooked.
Your comments on my driving,
while riding shotgun next to me.
Holding to the dashboard,
as I laughed hysterically.

The proud look on your face,
when my diploma was in hand.
The shouts of "That's MY Girl",
comming from the stands.
Your smiling face each time,
a granni you would be.
The happiness you showed,
when you named Stephanie.

The hugs were more abundant,
than water on the earth.
The love we shared between us,
priceless was it's worth.
I can't come to visit,
or call you on the phone.
I spend time with my memories,
as I look at mama's stone.

"Hey I love you mama",
I shout and I cry.
Then I place pretty flowers,
as I plot how to die.
"Please mama, please,
come back to me".
"I need you so much,
why can't God see?"

I fall to my knees,
only to feel the cold ground.
The only sound I hear,
are my tears falling down.
I am so full of rage now,
nothing like I was before.
He took my mama from my arms,
my heart aches forever more.
