I would never admit
how much your words
are actually missed

and perhaps, just maybe
I would never be able
to tell you
how your words
brushed lightly on this canvas
that eagerly awaited
the first subtle stroke
of touch from your
gentle hand...

       Perhaps, just maybe
you will never know
how truly beautiful
you painted my soul
in your rainbow
colors of light....

        I dreamed my dreams
         in prismatic hues,
bending and twisting
to the shape of you
in silhouetted view

    I reach to touch you
         to hold you,
               but you...

         you remain untouchable....

I continue to wish
upon a star
sometimes near;
but yet so DAMN far

and I hope it's light
will catch your eye
and you'll again think of me
and smile....

Perhaps, just maybe
we'll never know
anything more
than a moment held
in cherished sigh...

but perhaps, someday

two spirits will fly.

I really want to care,
I want to feel something,
let me dig a little deeper...
NAH, still nothing...

this is beautiful, it reminds me of a butterfly's flight, lilting and airy, somehow tenuous, but full of hope.....
