A Special Friend

Once in a while we meet someone
Who touch our heart in a special way
Even though there are miles between us
I think of you most everyday

I wish that we lived closer
So that we could visit each other
There is an emptiness in my heart
For you were like a sister

We shared laughter many times
We shared sorrow, too
As each day came and went
We helped each other make it thru

Then one day, you went back home
Once again, I was alone

I know how it feels when you are away from
someone that you were very close to. It
is a lonely feeling...but email and chats
can take care of some of the void..(if
available)... I hope you have the opportunity
to regain contact.

Sounds like a good time to write a letter,
Sue...I've gotten back into the "old way"
of correspondence, and it feels good.
