My heart hung Upon a silken thread Until you snipped Its last breath of hope The scarlet bundle fell Upon a pile of ruthless debris Glass tears and broken promises From a worn- out, tragic love story Bleeding is not new for me I have bled countless times before So here I am spinning thread To hang my heart once more. |
