My knight, my love, I weep, for deep is pain, for my heart cries, be not afraid, do not sleep, Tears I cry, down cheeks, through hearts eyes, Today my sweet, I may loose thee, This battle, this brutal test, Proving thy love only for me, Upon thy stallion of this quest, My heart, if thee die before my face, Know my love tis forever true, I give unto you, my silver heart necklace, Place it around thy neck,my devoted love I prove, In pain, in sorrow, my heart you possess, Be forever strong, free and brave, Ride with my loves fire, my souls caress, For you are free in my love, not a slave, Kiss thy heart for the luck of goodness, Ride upon the wind of eagles wings, Stand firm, valiant, don't give in to weakness, If ever I lost thee, your my life, my everything, My love, know my love deeply, know this love truely, when the moment the battle begins or starts, My soul forever branded inside your heart, Be thy brave knight, be the strong man you are, Honoured I am, to have your love for me, Just one last kiss, as I wish upon our star, Win this, loves test, for you a jousting victory. Thank you for "The Gift"~ We attract hearts by the qualities we display, we retain them by the qualities we possess.~Jean Baptiste Antoine Suard |

My dear Lady of Crimson Words.. It is easily understod why the Knights of yore were so willing to impale themselves upon a fast approaching piece of wood...if the Ladies of yore had but one tenth of your fire and passion... And if the Knight did not get dizzy and fall off his horse he might have even replied in a poetic tongue... CG [This message has been edited by CastleGuard (03-07-2005 07:33 PM).] |

ARH, well said, and I think you will wear nicely the gift. You are both lucky to have the other. |

Thou hast the courtly grace and words to carry this off, along with thine knights heart. Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

Dear Sir Goldenrose, A circle, once completed, remains closed. New circles may form and trace their own trajectories, guided by the winds of Fate. I do respectfully request that your replies spin within the circle of "Passions In Poetry", as shall mine. Thank you. CastleGuard |

Castle guard...please define ''passions''...passions in poetry can be about ANY subject...it could be about a passion for collecting coins..a passion for collecting fossils..a passion for horror films... a passion for identifying different mud consistancies and it would still be more interesting than this passion, it is something that has been worked to death and it no longer enthralls but bores...i respectfully offer my opinions...as one who used to write these one dimensional poems... .i think that even ARH would agree that she is a better writer at other subjects..we discussed it often enough...she needs to show us that she can write other poetry...then you will see a very good poet..instead of this mush all the time...go here to see her writing something other than her usual /pip/forum31/html/003031.html then tell me she should write the same thing all of the time, this is designed to help her... not surround her with yes men who will not tell her she will never learn if she continues with the same vein. Try something different and show us what you can do.... Have a great day everyone... Goldenrose. Love comforteth like sunshine after rain. (William Shakespeare.) not that it's any of my business, but I don't want to see anyone get kicked out of here please can we just focus on the poetry, and not the hurts of the past? internet romances are way over-rated anyhow...if it's a true life relationship, then fine, but as long as there is distance, what more can there be than just writing or talking on the phone or mailing through the postal service anyway? It's ridiculous to believe in love on the net...but this is poetry and this is just writing. How could it be anything more? Love develops over time, not over the net when you don't know someone but by their voice over the phone or whatever. It's nice love poetry, only to be believed if two people writing it are actually living close to one another and they see each other in real life. If not, then Phil, blow it off. You've been through all this. For whatever reason, it didn't work with you two. I'm not one to give the benefit of the doubt so I'd say don't sweat it. You know what it's all about. What is simply is. Live and let live. |

ARH this will be my last say on this subject...you can write when you put your mind to it..you can write anything...but this is your choice..fine..and please dont try to say things that are not true...or maybe i should say something that ARE true about what you have said about members of this forum...dont try to sensor me...i have never openly said bad things about anybody on here..but you on the other hand have i think...did you not?...maybe i should let the people know?.... Have a great day everybody and now i will concentrate on writing my poetry.... Goldenrose. Love comforteth like sunshine after rain. (William Shakespeare.) |

This is a poetry site, not a dating service. I just wish everyone would get back to writing poetry for the sake of poetry please? I agree, that some need to grow up, and you can forget the salt from me I am afraid! This was a really nice poem until it was taken where it went. |
