You never wrote a poem for me they were always for her inspired by your endless desire, wrapped into one. Oddly enough, I miss her musings and feel her pain as my own. I learned to let go losing myself leaving lasting impressions in a hush of whispers and wispy breaths, pressed against your lips. While sitting at that window seat watching the sun go down on me. Stuck on you in the heat of the moment like sweat sticks to vinyl that was all wet to begin with. I loved you like no other so many summers ago, but I have nothing to remember you by, because during that torrid time and passionate fire You never wrote a poem for me. |

Bluesy - someone once wrote a poem for me but what's more important is the trail of emotion left in a heart. We walk that path regardless of words on a page which are subject to change. You have memories forever as I do - now we just need to learn something positive from them. Have I told you how much I like your writing?  |

Bluesy, You write the sting very well. It's what's in the heart, not what's necessarily in writing that counts. In my case, someone gave me a book of poems upon his leaving, but then the poems were not ripe in my heart. It saddens me I was unappreciative, not more gracious. Words just are words without proper timing, I guess. Regardless, I understand your poem, "Stuck on You" Great write. Loved your reference to vinyl seats! |

 no one ever wrote a poem for me that actually came from heart~ just words they found from another page~ but as said before, they left trails of memories and joy for my heart to always follow. and never forget My spirit will rise |

Never wrote a poem for you.....that you knew about. Lots of us write poems we don't show anyone, and I'd bet big that your poems are there, if only you had seen them.
