I crested the wave of sorrow believing the past was dead with no power to hurt washed away by the tide of time then the sea of indifference swamped me Dumped, time and again I descended into the depths too tired to struggle too weary to rise to the surface I saw wonders beneath my perception of the world shaded by water’s haze I lingered longingly until death called me, in siren song Yet the need for new air forced my body to rise to the surface I breathed in and out, lost in the depth of the moment floating, but not seeing listening yet not hearing less than half alive my body functioning my mind adrift in the vastness of solitude Encouragement lobbed me to the shore I found myself washed up on a beach my mouth full of sand shivering with cold feeling the pain of life in every pore yet very much aware and alive now there's nothing more to do, than go on like the ocean – I am foam riding the crest to infinity. Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

Kethry, this is a profound write and I relate to this experience and have also expressed it in words. It's the call of love that brings us back into life, making us appreciate it more than ever. Wonderful piece. Love, Margherita |

like the ocean – I am foam that.... is both beautiful and sad. isn't it wonderful when we can see both visions at the same time? i think so. it's a fantastic line and one that will stay with me for a long time to come. i enjoyed this read. snow "i close my eyes and gather up the puddle of this life, one teaspoon at a time, into a bucket with holes" ~me an excerpt from "she still sees ugly" |

my mind adrift in the vastness of solitude Encouragement lobbed me to the shore ~*~ The juxtaposition of these lines, Keth, raise not only foam, but hope. |

I found this very moving for it brought to my mind a time when I once felt the same way. You have expressed these feelings so poetically. Love is what brought me ride the crests of the ocean's wave. Love for, and from another ~ and love for myself. You are more than the foam on the high seas! You are an integral part of it! A fine piece of poetry, Keth! Linda |

Keth beloved one, Oh dear Lord, how exquisite is this, I wish so much I had even half your ability darling one, but its no use I never will. You know I’m going to say this is utterly perfect don’t you? Well, of course I am because it is. The structure, the flow, that ending all combine to reveal the genius that is you, your writing is truly outstandingly good. That you can write so that I can see the scene and almost hear the waves is just an example of how brilliant and emotive this perfect piece of beauty from you is. Truly exquisite beloved one, I love this, I love it utterly Love you always And forever more Mushy Tomorrow is another day I don't know what it holds |
