I'm writing this letter of reference,
For a Food Bank Management Position.
I've known Ms. Kaci for many years,
She'd be an excellent acquisition.

I've seen her with food many times,
She's never missed a pot luck dinner.
The all-you-can-eats will gladly attest,
When it comes to eating, she's a winner.

She watches all foods like a hawk,
Ice cream never melts when she's near.
Chocolate chips are her specialty,
She can make them disappear.

She knows all about calories,
She can count them in her sleep.
She guards her stash of midnight goodies,
Like a shepherd guards his sheep.

BTW - Did you know that shepherds eat lots of lamb?

Oh, my! Remind me not to ever ask you for a letter of reference! Mind you, I might get the job anyway because the interviewer might appreciate the fact that I had a reference who had a phenomenal sense of humor!
