Tim is autistic
And does not have much talking skills
He is confined to a wheelchair
But to me he is still a person

Tim still does his school work
You just point out
What needs to be done
And he does it

Some days Tim does not want to be at school
So he acts up in a bad way
And sometimes flips his wheelchair over
Trying to get your attention

Sometimes Tim's parents
Send him to school sick
And when we call them to pick him up
They refuse to do so

But to me
Even though Tim has his bad days
He is still a person
And smart as a whip

(big angel hugs) Oh, dearest friend, I'm so glad you shared this with us! (wipes tears) Tim truly must be a remarkable, bright boy, and I know in my heart from the struggles with autism I've faced as a boy that I have faith he'll succeed and find those who can understand and love him for who he is! (hugs) God Bless You, dearest friend, I truly believe love is the greatest medicine of all and the greatest thing that can comfort and guide children like Tim, and it is up to unconditional acts of human kindness to reach out to those who always seem to be staring up into space or feel they're from a whole other world! (sigh) This is absolutely beautiful, sweet friend, God Bless your golden loving heart, we all love you so much! You have such a bautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!
