Lost to Me Emotions fill to overflow she's gone and I wonder who I can turn to when there is no one by my side. It use to be you, who could rise a smile just in thoughts until words could steal them away. Until the lack of touch was snowed in, snowed out plowed under and shoveled to the side. I have no need for space that separates, for the tormenting I have felt before, for the games that life plays always sending me back home, alone where I am meant to be. I can't recreate the fantasy world of the Lady, for her heart was stolen long ago in pages defined by her Knight and all that is left is the magic of memories, the middle of hope and faith, that all she believes in was seen through caring eyes that now have lost their glow... Words can create and words can take away... "Love is not blind - It sees more and not less, but because it sees more, it is willing to see less." |
