The rain pours Drenching the ground Seeping into every crack Every crevice Forever trying to fill and sustain To cleanse To wash away The filth and grime In the earth's very depths Constantly searching For some concrete surface A place to thrive To accumulate To grow A puddle is formed I pray it holds firm That a pond will form A creek A river Will it dry out? Before it overflows? I pray not |

I can't believe how dry we've been here in Oregon, while California is being saturated. Rain is good...rain is good, just keep saying that and remember how bad the drought was... rain is good... |

Thank you guys. I'm not sure if people see this... but I wrote this as a metaphor. rain to symbolize hope and faith. I thank you all for reading my posts... means a lot to me. |
