The old brown shoe, A rememberance of a childhood forgotten. Lost to time, Silhouetted, In the far reaches of his mind. Just a vague impression, Nothing more. Shadows of torment and heartbreak, Long since hidden from himself. The child with golden brown hair, And a smile from ear to ear. Gone. Erased from life, In a moment. Taken away, By one man. Intoxicated and high, No, not on life, But rather on death. Poison found in a can, In a light. In HIS hand. |
