Words sometimes fail this lacking tongue of mine. I worry you won’t understand that I feel. Darkness falls and it’s hard to find my way around the obstacles, over the lump of what used to be laying there trying to trip me up. I had a dream you were there, in the dark, in a corner you had claimed for yourself. I wondered why you wouldn’t give me your hand making it less harsh. Not understanding that you’re waiting for your own. In my world dark is reality of all that never was. A life devoid of good decisions, happy endings and true understanding of why I can’t seem to be what you need. What my mouth can’t word, my eyes seep in volumes. and I worry that you can’t see that in the dark. "too bad ignorance isn't painful" |
