There I was
spilling my soul out
over morning coffee
and you were there
listening quietly

like most any
friend would do,
but I know that
I've found more than
just a friend in you

so, I guess,
what I'm really
trying to say
is thank you for
being the angel
who holds my hand...

come what may.
