It was a long walk towards home today the streets were wet with evening rain the clouds were dark in a loving way shielding me from solar rays i came home alone again today cars passed by unaware of my empty presence the wind howled through the trees and littered the street with deadened leaves Love was something that had been missing an emotion that had no apparent equal the feeling felt a thousand years old I stayed warm in my clothes but shivered from cold the people seemed to move in slow motion transparent figures of the known universe the reigning shadows of society described me with letters i and t the air had felt cold and empty a sign of the events to come later on the words barely escaped my mouth silently reading my emotions aloud the buildings stretched for the clouds the brick walls were cold and unwelcoming stories told from eventual wear the boston air was hard to bare i neared the steps of my place called home taking in the last of the whistling breeze the rain had given me pain and solace as the sun had slipped away unnoticed but the day had finally ended to the meloncolic sky i said goodbye my heart had sunk and filled with sorrow wondering if i'll walk home alone tomorrow |

Welcome to Passions! Having the ability to express yourself well, it is not uncommon to feel "outside" the others' circles...for a while. Suddenly, though, one day you'll come into your own, and seek some private time! I think you've found a second home here. I look forward to reading more of your writings! |
