Talking to the Wind

Last night
I talked with the wind
It touched my face
  and caressed by hair
Its low melodic voice
  spoke of change and promise
It sang to me a lullabye
  born of a tender breeze

The wind has been there
It has seen
  and touched it all
It has known great fury
reaping its anger upon the earth
and to all who dwell within its reach
But, it assures me
with a gentle breath of air
  that I am safe
That it is just the nature of life
and we are all part of the whole
empty,
  as it may sometimes seem...

Lovely verse SG,
And this was the icing for me.

I love to write about the wind...something about it just seems so magical, like a door to your emotions, you know? Nice write.

Skoolyardturtle,

Thank you for your reply. Yes, magical it is. So interesting to feel it and yet not really see it.
