Quiet moon ambles leisurely
through starless skies
your soft voice calling me
from the past,
must be the soughing
wind whispering
of what might have been

You were taken from loving
arms grown cold as desire fades,
to a far place,
leaving me to walk a lonely road
praying soon you will beckon me
to your distant abode.

Sorrowful. Express so well, I feel its power.
