I held your heart within mine, for our love was a shooting star, across the velvet sky it flew, catching my breath, breathing you, it was real, you and I, so real, tears flow from my eyes, Sparkling jewels, of a forever love, Your love was all I needed, burning within me, alive, My heart consumed you, for breakfast, morning, evening and night, We consumed eachother, we touched on heavens levels, a higher love, only once, passing through, that moment, this life, this chance, now, above the clouds and beyond, places and times, music and poetry, We understand eachother, like two souls longing for home, only happy when together, when my heart gets cold, I put on those warm black gloves, you know the ones, you bought them for me, and my heart remembers, remembers, remembers....and like the glove, your love wraps itself around my heart, keeping it warm, until your soul comes home once again. Goldenrose, Yes winter is cold, and I wear the gloves to keep the snow from freezing my hands....but the snow usually melts, from the warmth of the love pulsating from my veins... It is interesting how love can be shared and known upon this higher plane you speak of - an amazing thing, love - and you've written it so nicely here - It is interesting too, how an object can become a vessel of that emotion - bringing a swell of tender to our hearts - Much enjoyed - Susan If I wander far enough, long enough, will I finally know . . . |
